2013 Theater
CRC would like to thank Rachel Damon for her many years of running our Children's Theater program. The kids have learned a lot from her and the performances were always top notch. We wish her well in her new endeavors.
Looking ahead, we are excited to announce that the show will go on! CRC welcomes Abigail Dutton and Henry Edwards as the 2013 CRC Kids Theater Directors!
Abby will be graduating from her high school in Sharon, Vermont this spring with plans to attend Yale University in the fall. She has been involved with Chebeague Children’s Theatre for six years and is excited to transition to a directing capacity. In past years on the island, Abby co-directed 101 Dalmations and performed in many production including 42nd Street and Thoroughly Modern Millie. Additionally, Abby was a founding member of the Northern Stage Ensemble, worked on Kids to Kids: Theater Adventures, and taught many other theater classes in Vermont and New Hampshire.
Henry is a rising senior from Grafton, Massachusetts. He has been involved with Chebeague Children’s Theatre for the past seven years as an actor, a technician, and a director. Most recently, Henry directed and offered technical support for the island production of Annie and performed in Singing in the Rain. When Henry is not involved in theater productions on the island, he is busy at home in Grafton, Massachusetts in his school’s theater department.

Participants will audition for parts on the first day of rehearsals and continue exploring their roles for the following three weeks in preparation for performances on the 19th and 20th of July.
