Pool Programs
Support from the community makes it possible for the CRC to provide opportunities for both free Water Safety training & for our young adults participating in our Lifeguard Scholarship Program. These initiatives provide a safe environment for our pool visitors!

Join the CRC Team:
Teens are able to volunteer as a lifeguard at the CRC pool and earn a $1,500 or $2000 scholarship towards further education.
The Water Safety Instruction course equips participants to encourage safe behavior in the water and to lead Learn to Swim classes. Water Safety Instructors do not need to be lifeguard certified. This course is open both to CRC staff and to the public. Applications need to be complete by May.
Programs:
The CRC is excited to offer Learn to Swim Classes for Chebeague's youth. The CRC offers group and individual lessons, ranging from the Little Minnows for babies 6 months old to Master Swim Class
Led by certified USMS coach Kim Goodwin, these clinics will help all levels of swimmers improve endurance, stroke technique, or add variety to their workout.
This camp is for Masters swimmers who want to improve their stroke techniques and get a good swim workout while relaxing and enjoying summer island life. All proceeds directly support water safety programs!
